Christmas in Montana

We spent Christmas this year with my family up in Montana. We had a blast and it was such a thrill for me to see my brother Shaun and my brother Adam and his adorable family. They made it back home to Wisconsin just in time to have baby #5 (Welcome Denali)!

Heidi and Cory joined us later in the week and the guys had to replace their traditional snowmobile outing due to lack of snow. Instead, they took a drive to Lincoln and shot a bunch of guns at empty buckets. Scott has all sorts of pictures and videos from their excursion. They were in heaven - so manly!:) The ladies did our usual lunch and a movie and had a lovely time.

My boys really enjoyed hanging with all of their super cool cousins, who were very accomodating with their new little tagalongs. Grandma Lana spent one-on-one time with each grandchild by taking them to lunch and then to the store to select a special gift. They loved getting to do this and it was a very meaningful Christmas present.

So here are a few of my favorite pics from Christmas. The last one is from our drive back to Utah. There were several rounds of vomiting, due to car sickness and from the chain reaction of watching others vomit. After several stops and lots of scrubbing and changing clothes, we just started to crack up laughing. The picture shows us laughing and doing our throw up faces. Yep, we are strange, but it was a long drive people!

Till next time. . .
