In My Spare Time

Ever since I married Scott and officially became a Johnson, I have realized how common and generic my name has become. I get a kick out of seeing my name in rather unusual places.

So, being the multitalented gal that I am, I am stretching myself out into some new ventures. One of my biggest new challenges is running for mayor of West Jordan. Please remember to get out and vote people!

I also have been dabbling part time as a Derma Graphic Technician doing permanent cosmetics and tattoo removal. It truly is fascinating and rewarding work. Please let me know if you need my services. I promise the utmost confidentiality.

Can't wait to see what I'm doing next!

The Things We Do For Fun

We are well into fall and although things seem to always be busy, we somehow manage to fit in time for fun. Scott enjoyed his birthday, even though it means he is now one year away from turning forty.

We got to spend quality time with some friends of ours at their cabin. It was nice to get away for a night with the family and laugh unbelievably hard. The kids loved getting to hang out together and really enjoyed their big slumber party. Here is Miles and his cute friends giving us a preview of their "gun" show.

Scott took the boys 4-wheeling and they all had a blast.

Last weekend Scott and I got to take a little trip to Las Vegas. We had such an incredible time. We got lots of sleep, went to a movie and lounged by the pool. We got to see the show LeReve, as well as go dancing and attend the Utah/UNLV game. I managed to fit in a small amount of shopping and overall, we enjoyed a heavenly weekend.

Tate's Two!

Tate just celebrated his second birthday, and I am going to need someone to tell me where the last two years went. They went by unbelievably fast, and all I know for sure is that they involved very little sleep. :)

When Tate was born, he came out screaming. He paused for a brief moment to pee everywhere and then went back to screaming. From that moment on, he has been full of personality. The other day, he and I spent a significant amount of time making silly faces at each other and then bursting into giggles. Tate is a real joy to be around - funny, expressive, passionate and oh so charming.

Here are some highlights from his big day:

Tate got to go to the local firestation with
Miles' preschool class, and was a little unsure of
everything. He also got to participate with Miles
at karate - breaking boards, learning how to use
weapons and having a blast with the big kids!

Happy Birthday Tate!
