House Guests

My brother Adam and his wife Dawnelle recently visited us from Wisconsin with their four kids, Sierra, Breyden, McKinley and Brindley. It had been quite a while since we had seen them and we all had a great time hanging out. We played board games, watched videos and spent an evening having pizza and playing games at Chuck E. Cheese, where Adam and Scott kept complaining about how horrible the pizza was. Um, guys, it was Chuck E. Cheese.

Things we learned from their visit:
1) We need to ask Santa for Rock Band next year. Adam's family got a Wii for Christmas, and we all had a great time with it. Miles and Scott also liked Wii sports, especially boxing and baseball.

2) Babies are super cute. But two babies together are off the chart cute. Baby Brindley and Tate were pretty hot commodities during the visit and it was really fun to get to see them together.

3) Miles needs an older sibling. He had a great time playing with his older cousins and they were wonderful with him.

4) It is hard to live away from family. I enjoyed every minute of the visit. There was a lot of playing, a lot of laughter and a lot of love. Come back soon!
