Since we are leaving this weekend to head up to Montana, I thought a quick post would be in order to catch everyone up on all of the latest. I am really excited to get to spend time with my family and am looking forward to the road trip with my cute boys. Yes, I am driving up alone with the kids, and yes, I am a little crazy (no news there). Scott will join us over the weekend of July 4th and help me drive everyone home. I will, of course, post some fabulous Montana pictures when we return.
In spite of the never ending rain we have received (to be honest, I have loved every minute), we have managed to kick off summer by doing some of our favorite things. Scott and Miles attended the Father and Sons camp out. It was Miles' first experience with camping and he had been looking forward to it for months. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. He had a blast and enjoyed the bonding time with dad. We also headed to the great outdoors with some families from our ward for Family Home Evening one Monday night. We made smores and the kids ran wild. It was a fun evening.
Miles had another karate testing and received his camouflage belt. He has moved up to the Advanced Tiny Tigers class and will get to use sparring gear. Exciting stuff!
We made an outing to Hogle Zoo and the Aquarium (sorry I post so many of these, but hey, we have yearly passes).
The boys have perfected their television viewing skills and have really gotten the hang of lounging.
Miles did another round of preschool sports, improving his t-ball skills.
Tate continued to be a cute spectator and his brother's biggest supporter. He can't wait until it's his turn.
